Meeting with Ambassador Mauro Vieira

Another work meeting was held in July between the Secretary of the ABACC, Dr. José Mauro Esteves dos Santos and the Brazilian ambassador in Argentina, Dr. Mauro Vieira. In this occasion, discussions were held on issues related to ABACC’s performance and, especially, with regard to the safeguards activities that are being carried out at the commercial uranium enrichment plant of Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil (INB). These activities had been the subject of articles in the Argentine press at that time and the Secretary of the ABACC clarified the main facts that were being mentioned about the facility.
